1. Who we are

These Terms are provided by Mawjood Now W.L.L, a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under Commercial Registration No. 200708-1 ("Mawjood Now", "we", "us" or "our").

Mawjood Now operates a digital marketplace that helps people discover distinctive vehicle plate numbers, publish Listings and connect Buyers with Sellers and professional Brokers.

2. What these Terms cover

These Terms apply to anyone who accesses or uses the Platform, including visitors, Buyers, Individual Sellers, professional Brokers and users of free or paid services.

By accessing or using Mawjood Now, you agree to these Terms to the extent they apply to your use. Some features may also have additional terms that will be shown before you use them.

3. Key definitions

Platform: the Mawjood Now website, marketplace, Seller Portal and related digital services.

User: anyone who accesses or uses the Platform.

Buyer: a User who browses plate numbers, saves Listings, submits an Interest or otherwise seeks to acquire a plate number.

Seller: an individual or business that lists or offers a plate number through the Platform.

Broker: a professional seller or intermediary using the Platform. Mawjood Now itself is not a Broker unless we clearly state otherwise for a particular Listing, service or transaction.

Listing: a plate number offer displayed on the Platform together with its price, status and related information.

Interest: a Buyer’s verified expression of interest in a specific Listing. An Interest is not a completed purchase, does not guarantee a sale and does not create a binding transaction by itself.

Offer Price: an optional amount submitted by a Buyer for a negotiable Listing. It is not an auction bid and does not create a binding transaction by itself.

Paid Service: a subscription, additional Listing, Spotlight or promotional feature, or another service for which Mawjood Now charges a fee.

4. Who can use Mawjood Now

You must be at least 18 years old to submit an Interest, create a Seller or Broker account, publish a Listing or purchase a Paid Service. By doing so, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into the relevant arrangement.

You may browse public Listings without creating an account. Some features may require mobile verification, email verification or another authentication step.

5. Mawjood Now’s role

Mawjood Now is primarily a marketplace and lead-generation platform. Unless we clearly state otherwise for a particular Listing, service or transaction, Mawjood Now is not acting as a broker, agent, representative or contracting party for the Buyer or Seller.

In some cases, Mawjood Now may separately agree to act as a broker or intermediary. If we do, we will make that role clear and disclose any applicable brokerage fee, commission or additional terms before they apply.

Mawjood Now does not itself complete the official transfer of a plate number. Buyers and Sellers remain responsible for satisfying the applicable government procedures and legal requirements.

6. Listings and Seller responsibilities

When you create or manage a Listing, you are responsible for the information you provide. You agree that:

• you are legally entitled or properly authorized to offer the plate number;
• the plate number, asking price, negotiability, availability and other Listing information are accurate and not misleading;
• you will update, hide or mark a Listing sold when its status changes;
• you will not use Mawjood Now to advertise an unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorized offer; and
• you will provide reasonable supporting information or documents if Mawjood Now requests them for safety, compliance or moderation purposes.

7. Ownership and verification

Unless Mawjood Now specifically states otherwise, Mawjood Now has not independently verified that a Seller owns, controls or is authorized to sell the plate number shown in a Listing.

A Listing on Mawjood Now is not proof of ownership or authority to sell. Mawjood Now may request ownership documents, identification or other evidence from a Seller at any time, but this does not mean every Listing or Seller has been verified.

Any “verified” label means only the specific verification expressly identified. Mobile, email, account or Broker verification does not by itself mean that ownership of a plate number has been verified.

8. Buyer responsibilities and due diligence

Before agreeing to buy a plate number, making any payment or completing a transfer, Buyers are responsible for carrying out their own checks on the Seller, the plate number, ownership, authority to sell, price, payment method and any other information relevant to the transaction.

A Listing, verified mobile number, Seller profile, Broker profile or other information shown on the Platform should not be treated as a guarantee that a person is trustworthy, owns the plate number or will complete the transaction.

Buyers should take appropriate precautions and complete the official transfer through the applicable authorities.

9. Interests and Offer Prices

Submitting “I’m Interested” tells the Seller or Broker that you are interested in that specific Listing. It is not a completed purchase, binding sale, auction bid or guarantee that the plate will remain available.

If a Listing is negotiable, Mawjood Now may allow the Buyer to include an optional Offer Price. An Offer Price is simply part of the Interest and does not create an auction or automatically create a contract.

When a Buyer submits an Interest, the contact details provided may be shared with the exact Seller or Broker associated with that Listing so that they can respond. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.

10. A Listing does not guarantee a sale

A Listing does not guarantee that the plate number will be sold, that a Buyer will submit an Interest, that the Buyer and Seller will agree on terms, that the plate will remain available, or that the official transfer will be completed.

Mawjood Now does not guarantee market value, asking price, transaction outcome or approval by any government authority unless we expressly state otherwise.

11. Transactions are between Buyers and Sellers

Unless Mawjood Now expressly states that it is acting as a broker or contracting party for a specific service or transaction, the transaction is between the Buyer and Seller. They are responsible for agreeing the final price, checking identity and authority, arranging payment, signing any required documents and completing the official transfer.

Mawjood Now is not responsible for payments or transactions made between Users, including deposits, cash, cheques, bank transfers or other payment methods, or for fraud, misrepresentation, non-payment, non-delivery, disputes, losses or other problems arising between them, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Both Buyers and Sellers are responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence on the other party and the proposed transaction.

12. Free and paid services

Mawjood Now may offer some services free of charge and may charge fees for other services.

For example, an Individual Seller may be permitted to list up to a specified number of plate numbers free of charge, subject to the limits and conditions displayed on the Platform. Other services may require payment, including subscription plans, additional Listings, promotional or Spotlight features and other optional services.

Any applicable fee will be displayed or otherwise communicated before you purchase or use the relevant Paid Service.

Mawjood Now does not charge a commission on the sale of a plate number unless we specifically agree to act as a broker or intermediary for a particular transaction and clearly disclose the applicable brokerage fee or commission.

We may introduce, modify, limit or discontinue free or paid services, plans, Listing allowances or fees from time to time. Any new or revised charges will apply prospectively and will be disclosed before they are charged.

13. Paid visibility does not guarantee results

Paying for a subscription, additional Listing, Spotlight placement or another promotional feature does not guarantee views, Interests, enquiries, a particular ranking, a sale or any other commercial result unless the specific Paid Service expressly states otherwise.

Spotlight or other promotional placement is a visibility feature. It does not mean Mawjood Now has verified, endorsed or recommended the Seller, ownership, price or transaction.

Refund eligibility depends on the particular Paid Service, the circumstances and applicable law. A Paid Service does not automatically become refundable simply because a Listing receives no Interest or does not result in a sale.

14. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login details and verification methods secure and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or contact details have been compromised.

We may require verification, password resets, re-authentication or other reasonable security steps where needed to protect Users or the Platform.

15. Use Mawjood Now fairly

You must not misuse Mawjood Now. In particular, you must not:

• post fake, misleading, unlawful or fraudulent Listings;
• impersonate another person or business;
• create or use multiple accounts to evade Listing limits, verification, suspension or other Platform controls;
• harass, threaten or spam Buyers, Sellers, Brokers or Mawjood Now staff;
• use contact information obtained through Mawjood Now for unrelated marketing, resale, harassment or another unauthorized purpose;
• scrape, copy, harvest or commercially extract Platform data at scale without permission;
• interfere with the security, availability or operation of the Platform; or
• use Mawjood Now in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

16. Moderation, investigations and enforcement

To protect the marketplace, Mawjood Now may examine activity; hide, suspend, correct or remove Listings; restrict features; request more information; investigate concerns; or suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe there is misuse, fraud risk, inaccurate information, a legal requirement or a breach of these Terms.

We may act without prior notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, safety, security, legal compliance or to prevent Users from being misled. Where appropriate, we may preserve records and cooperate with competent authorities.

17. Content and intellectual property

Mawjood Now owns or licenses the Platform, brand, software, design, plate-rendering systems, graphics and other Mawjood Now content, except for content supplied by Users or third parties.

When you upload Listing information, logos, images, documents or other content, you keep your rights in that content but confirm that you have the right to provide it. You give Mawjood Now a non-exclusive permission to host, process, format, translate, display and promote that content as reasonably needed to operate and market the Platform.

Private documents are not made public simply because they are uploaded. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data and private information are handled.

18. Communications

Mawjood Now may send service communications through email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-platform notices or other supported channels. These may include OTP messages, account notices, Interest notifications, security messages, payment/service notices and operational updates.

Marketing communications, where used, will be handled in accordance with applicable law and available preferences.

19. Service availability and third parties

We work to keep Mawjood Now accurate, secure and available, but online services can experience interruptions, errors or delays. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.

Mawjood Now may rely on third-party providers for services such as hosting, authentication, messaging, email, analytics or payments. We are responsible for our own obligations, but we cannot guarantee that third-party networks and services will always be available or error-free.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue Platform features where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal or commercial reasons.

20. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to applicable law, Mawjood Now is not responsible for losses caused by another User’s conduct, an unverified or false ownership claim, inaccurate Listing information, off-platform payments, fraud between Users, failure to complete a transaction, government refusal or delay, or services outside Mawjood Now’s reasonable control.

To the extent permitted by law, Mawjood Now is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform or from transactions between Users.

If a User’s unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorized conduct causes Mawjood Now to face a third-party claim or direct loss, that User may be responsible for the resulting reasonable losses and costs to the extent permitted by law.

21. Reporting concerns

If you suspect fraud, a false Listing, misuse of personal information or another safety issue, contact compliance@mawjoodnow.com as soon as reasonably possible. We may ask for information needed to investigate and may take appropriate Platform action.

22. Changes to services and these Terms

We may update Mawjood Now, introduce or discontinue features, and change free or paid service plans over time.

We may also update these Terms when the Platform, our business model or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version and effective date. If a change materially affects an existing account, paid service or User rights, we may provide additional notice or ask for acceptance again where appropriate.

23. Governing law, language and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the competent courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Mawjood Now may provide these Terms in English and Arabic. The two versions are intended to have the same substantive meaning.
