1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy is issued by Mawjood Now W.L.L, a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under Commercial Registration No. 200708-1 ("Mawjood Now", "we", "us" or "our").
Mawjood Now operates a marketplace and related digital services that help people discover plate numbers, publish listings, submit verified buyer interest, and connect buyers with sellers and brokers.

2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Mawjood Now marketplace, Seller Portal, related account and support services, and other digital services that link to this policy.
It applies whether you browse anonymously, save a number, submit an Interest, create a seller or broker account, publish a Listing, use a paid service, or contact us for support.
3. Age requirement
Mawjood Now is intended for users aged 18 or older. Users under 18 should not submit an Interest, create a seller account, or list a plate number.
If we reasonably believe personal data was provided by a person under 18 in connection with a restricted service, we may take steps to remove or restrict that data where appropriate.
4. Information we collect
When you browse
We may receive technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, language, pages viewed, approximate session activity, security events, and similar usage data needed to operate, secure and improve the Platform.
When you save numbers
Saved Numbers may be stored locally on your browser or device without requiring an account. We may store the listing identifiers and local preferences needed to provide this feature. Clearing browser or site data, changing browsers, or changing devices may remove or make those locally stored Saved Numbers unavailable.
When you submit an Interest
We collect the mobile number you provide, mobile verification status, your name, the exact Listing you are interested in, and an optional Offer Price where the Listing is negotiable. We may also retain timestamps, security signals and transaction context needed to prevent duplicate or fraudulent submissions and to maintain an audit trail.
When you use the Seller Portal
We may collect account details, name, email address, mobile number, broker or business details, profile information, Listings, prices, status changes, communications, subscription or service information, and other information you provide while managing your account.
Documents and verification information
If Mawjood Now requests ownership, authorization or verification documents, those documents are treated as private information and are not displayed publicly unless we clearly tell you otherwise. Access may be restricted to authorized personnel and systems for verification, fraud prevention, compliance and related operational purposes.
Payments and billing
Where you purchase subscriptions, additional Listings, Spotlight, or other paid services, we may collect billing and transaction information needed to administer the service. Payment providers may process payment-card, bank, or other payment information directly under their own privacy terms. Mawjood Now does not receive or store full payment credentials unless the relevant payment flow expressly requires and discloses this.
When you contact us
We may collect the contents of support requests, complaints, legal or privacy requests, attachments and related correspondence.
5. How we use your information
We use personal data only for legitimate Platform, operational, security, and legal purposes. Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing may be based on your consent, the steps needed to provide a service you request, compliance with legal obligations, or another lawful basis available under applicable law.

- verify mobile numbers and account contact details;
- create and manage seller and broker accounts;
- publish and manage Listings;
- record and route Buyer Interests to the correct Seller or Broker;
- provide subscriptions, additional listings, Spotlight and other paid or free services;
- send service, security, verification and transaction-related communications;
- prevent fraud, abuse, impersonation, spam and attempts to bypass platform controls;
- investigate complaints and disputes and maintain appropriate audit records;
- improve product performance, reliability and user experience;
- comply with applicable law and respond to competent authorities where required.
6. When a Buyer submits an Interest
Submitting an Interest is a deliberate request to connect with the Seller or Broker responsible for the exact Listing.
When you submit an Interest, Mawjood Now may share relevant information with that exact Seller or Broker, including your name, verified mobile number and, where applicable, your Offer Price and the Listing you were interested in.
We do not intentionally send your Interest to unrelated sellers or brokers. The recipient is derived from the Listing associated with your Interest.
7. How Sellers and Brokers may use Buyer information
A Seller or Broker who receives Buyer information through Mawjood Now may use it only for the relevant enquiry, negotiation, or transaction and must handle it in accordance with applicable law.
Buyer contact information must not be used for unrelated marketing, sold or traded as contact data, added to unrelated marketing databases, used to harass users, or used for another purpose inconsistent with the reason it was shared.
Once a Seller or Broker receives Buyer information, that Seller or Broker is also responsible for how it handles and uses that information outside Mawjood Now.
8. What verification means - and what it does not mean
Mawjood Now may verify specific information, such as a mobile number, email address, broker status, or ownership or authorization evidence, where applicable.
Verification means only the specific check we clearly describe. For example, "Mobile Verified" means that the mobile number was verified. It does not mean Mawjood Now verified the person's identity, trustworthiness, ownership of a plate number, authority to sell, or the accuracy of every statement they make.
Unless Mawjood Now clearly states that ownership or authority to sell has been verified, users should not assume that such verification has taken place.
9. Public and private Seller information
Some Seller or Broker information may be public because it forms part of a Listing or public profile, such as a display name, broker name, logo, public profile information or offered-by identity.
Private account information, internal identifiers, Buyer data, ownership documents and other restricted information are not intended for public display unless we clearly explain otherwise.
10. Service providers and other recipients
We use service providers to operate Mawjood Now. These providers may process personal data only as needed to provide their services, subject to contractual and legal requirements that apply to them.
Service providers may include providers of
database, authentication and storage services; web hosting and infrastructure; OTP, WhatsApp and other messaging services; email delivery; security and fraud-prevention tools; customer support; analytics and performance monitoring; and payment or billing services where paid services are used.
We select and manage service providers according to the services they perform, the information involved, and applicable legal and security requirements.
Other disclosures
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to professional advisers, auditors, insurers, corporate transaction counterparties, or competent public authorities, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
11. International processing and transfers
Some of our service providers may process or store information outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Where personal data is transferred outside Bahrain, Mawjood Now will take the steps required by applicable Bahrain data-protection law and use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism where required.
12. Cookies, local storage and similar technologies
Mawjood Now may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep the Platform working, remember language or session preferences, support security, and provide features such as Saved Numbers.
Where we use analytics or marketing technologies, we will use and disclose them in accordance with applicable law and provide any required choices or notices.
13. How long we keep information
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, legal, security and audit needs.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information. Factors may include account and Listing activity, Buyer Interest history, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, financial or accounting requirements, security records, and the need to preserve evidence of important Platform actions.
We may anonymize or aggregate information so that it no longer identifies you and retain that information for analytics, product improvement or reporting.
14. Account closure and deletion requests
Closing an account or asking us to delete information does not necessarily mean every record will be deleted immediately.
We may retain information where reasonably necessary or legally required for fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, accounting, enforcement of our Terms, legal claims, regulatory obligations or audit history.
Where we no longer need personal data and do not have a lawful reason to retain it, we will delete, anonymize or otherwise handle it in accordance with applicable requirements.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
We limit access to sensitive information according to role and operational need and seek to avoid including sensitive information unnecessarily in public interfaces, analytics events, or general logs.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users are also responsible for protecting their devices, passwords, verification codes and account access.
16. Fraud, safety and legal disclosures
We may review, preserve, restrict or disclose information where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, impersonation, abuse, security incidents, unlawful activity or misuse of Mawjood Now.
We may also disclose information where required by law, court order or a competent authority, or where permitted by law to protect Mawjood Now, our users or others.
Where appropriate, we may preserve relevant records while a complaint, investigation, dispute or legal process is ongoing.
17. Service communications and marketing
Service communications may include OTPs, verification messages, security alerts, account notices, Interest notifications, and account, Listing, service, billing, or payment-related notices needed to provide or protect the service.
Marketing communications are separate from essential service communications. Where applicable law requires consent or a right to opt out, we will provide the appropriate choice.
18. We do not sell personal data
Mawjood Now does not sell or trade personal data to third parties as a standalone commercial product.
We may share personal data as described in this policy to operate the marketplace, route an Interest, provide services, protect the Platform, comply with law or work with service providers.
19. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable Bahrain law and any lawful limitations, you may have rights relating to personal data we hold about you, including rights to request access, correction or deletion in appropriate circumstances, and to object to certain processing.
You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to the consequences of withdrawing it and any lawful basis we may have to retain or continue processing certain information.
To make a privacy request, contact compliance@mawjoodnow.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
20. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Mawjood Now, our services, technology or legal obligations change.
We will update the "Last updated" date when we make changes. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the Platform, email or another appropriate channel.
21. Language
Mawjood Now provides this Privacy Policy in English and Arabic. Both versions are intended to communicate the same substantive policy.
